Digital cameras can do things film cameras cannot: displaying images on a screen immediately after they are recorded, storing thousands of images on a single small memory device, recording video with sound, and deleting images to free storage space.  Digital cameras are incorporated into many devices ranging from PDAs and mobile phones (called camera phones) to vehicles.  Digital cameras record color images as intensities of red, green and blue, which are stored as variable (analog) charges on a CCD or CMOS image sensor chip.

Nikon

Nikon has introduced a new digital imaging technology that aims to keep faces in focus, eliminating one of the most common pitfalls of digital photography.  Nikon announced the newest kid on the block and what a camera it is.  Nikon D300 digital camera also incorporates a range of innovative technologies and features that will significantly improve the accuracy, control and performance photographers can get from their equipment.  Nikon D300 without doubt is a fierce competitor in the digital camera market.
