  1. This battery gives me 1000-1400 shots. I do not know if there are batteries that last for long. I also have a 28-300mm lens. Zoom takes longer than normal batteries. Two fully charged battery can be a shootout weeek’s worth, in my opinion. It ‘been a good investment for me. Rating: 5 / 5

  2. How do I check the battery except to say that it works or not. It works. Was not defective. So I give it five stars. Rating: 5 / 5

  3. The primary backup for your otherwise indestructible Canon 1D Mark III and 1Ds Mark III. With a card in the camera is fully charged, and one is fully loaded as a backup, you may be able to go around the world taking pictures for a few weeks, perhaps months before charging home for charging the batteries. Keep a pocket full of CF / SD-8-16 cards gigbyte, though. Rating: 5 / 5

  4. This battery lasted for more than 1000 images, plus the use of lens micro-adjustments, mirror blocked, cleaning, etc. This includes two trips recorded in sub-freezing. I was in a new battery in the camera, and I expect at least 2000 pictures to get one. Rating: 4 / 5

  5. Much smaller and lighter than the Mark II design. It is the sense of security knowing you make a backup. In possession of a large load. The price may be a bit ‘high, however, that should decrease over time. Rating: 4 / 5
